There has been a lot of talk about iPads being helpful to children with special needs, especially those with Autism. I certainly found this to be the case for our son.
Little Man has always been good with electronics. He actually taught me how to do new things with my iPhone. Since we are a family that loves Apple products, we didn’t hesitate in purchasing an iPad, with the main purpose of it being to help Little Man with his social and communication skills. The iPad has been a fun way to sneak in learning for him.
Below are a few apps that have been very helpful to Little Man. The links take you directly to the iTunes store where you can find out more information. Some of the apps are free, but some have a fee. I didn’t post the prices because they are subject to change.
Apps to Help with Speech & Language
Apps to Help with Preschool
Fine Motor Skills Apps
I hope this list will be helpful to you. Even if you don’t have a special needs child, I’m sure that some of these apps can help your preschooler.
