Testimony Time!

Women of faith, prayer, holy bible
You know the old saying, “Prayer Changes Things”.  So does it ring true with you?

Have you noticed a change since you participated in the Prayer Challenge?

I certainly hope so.  What a joy it is to see God bless someone else through your prayers! There is no better gift to give someone than prayer.

Here’s my testimony of what God did for my family during the Prayer Challenge.

I spent time praying for my husband concerning his job.  My husband went to a new job after he returned from deployment that could be considered stressful.  He was anxious about a few things and seemed to be consumed with thoughts about work while at home.  It became even harder on my husband when I started physical therapy because he had to leave work a couple of days a week earlier than he normally would so that someone would be home with our son.

I often shared suggestions on how he could accomplish everything he needed to do, but prayer turned out to be the best thing I could do.

My husband’s days seem to be going better since I’ve started the Prayer Challenge. He seems to be getting into the swing of things and he doesn’t bring as much work home.

I know that prayers for my husband made a difference.   But I’m not going to stop just because I see a desirable outcome.  I have to continue praying and I’m expecting even more positive results in the near future.

How did the Prayer Challenge turn out for you?

I appreciate you!! I took the prayer challenge. I usually pray for my husband everyday….unless I'm upset with him, then I'd be praying for God to calm me down.

So I began praying for him even when I was upset. And we got into a major argument…I decided to go visit my sister and so I did. I continued to pray for him. And with the prayers and the space, Holy Spirit mended my heart. And He showed me where I was selfish and foolish at. Now that I've been back, we've reconnected. It feels SO different. The "Like" is back in our relationship.

I took the prayer challenge and was praying for my husband also. He too has a VERY stressful job that sometimes comes home and has too much of his attention. I have been praying that he would come to church with the baby and me to worship with us. Well on Friday he said that he may go with us on Easter and yesterday I didn't bring it up so he asked me about it and told me that I forgot to ask him but I told him that I was not going to pressure him but let him come on his own. He didn't go yesterday but God is working on him because he is now thinking about going.

I will continue to include you and your family in my prayers.

    Prayer changes things…

I did take the challenge and I did not remember to pray for him at work every day. I did pray for him
quite a few times just not everyday. I will still conitnue to work on it.

For us this week has been pretty rough, but not as bad as it could be. And through it all mu hubby has been fairly happy and positive throught it all.
I know God it doing great things for us we just don't always see them right away.
I am going to continue working on this challenge.
It's wonderful, the changes for your husband.
