He-Man was a great cartoon that was out when I was a little kid. I thought that He-Man was cool and I thought Battle Cat was even more cool. My son doesn’t know anything about He-Man, but you wouldn’t know it from what he did today.
So there I was…sitting at the kitchen table. I had a very important phone call that I needed to make without a screaming, squealing, playing toddler in the background, so I let my son go in his bedroom to watch one of his DVDs. I turned on the video monitor so that I could see what he was doing. He was a great boy and stayed in his bed most of the time I was on the phone conversation, which didn’t last too long.
Since he was at peace and I had a few other things that I needed to do really quick, I decided to let him stay in his room for a while. He can’t get in trouble in there and besides, his room is childproof, right?
Well, I took a look at the monitor and saw him actually KICK THROUGH his wooden safety rails on his toddler bed. I couldn’t believe he did that!
I think I heard him say, “By the Power of Grayskull, I have the POWER!!!” But seriously…
So here is the damage that he did.
My husband said I need to call the crib company and ask for another part. I’m thinking a little bigger than that…should I do a safety report?
I mean really, should a one year old that will be two on tomorrow be able to kick down a “safety rail?”
Seriously…something is not quite right with that.
What do you think?
